Important Update Liverpool Business Fair

Statement from Liverpool BA re: Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak – Liverpool Business Fair (1st May) postponed

Like all businesses, we have been closely monitoring the ongoing situation around the Coronavirus or COVID-19 outbreak.

As an events business our first priority is of course to protect the health and safety of our event participants and the wider community.

In line with the most recent Government guidance on social distancing and public gatherings, and with deep regret, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the Liverpool Business Fair (which was scheduled for Friday 1st May 2020) until further notice.

We are looking at future dates and aim to get a new date confirmed and out there as soon as possible.

All exhibitor and visitor bookings already placed for Liverpool Business Fair will be carried forward to the rescheduled event.

As you will appreciate, this is not an easy step for us to take. We have been organising business events for nearly 20 years and have never rescheduled or cancelled an event in all that time. However, we hope you will understand that these are exceptional circumstances and the need to keep everyone safe plus the way that the situation is evolving means we feel we have no other option but to postpone.

Even though we won’t be able to hold a physical event on Friday 1st May, we are planning to undertake a number of online activities that week which will hopefully replicate some of the benefits of actually being there. Please keep an eye out for more details, which we’ll be releasing over the coming weeks.

We recognise that this is a challenging time for everyone and would like to wish you all the best for the weeks ahead.

Above all, we hope that you stay safe and healthy.

Kind regards

Liverpool BA
